Stephanie Panayi: There are very positive prospects for Cyprus’ tourism sector
In anticipation of her panel discussion at #IDEEA2023, Stephanie Panayi, Head of Strategic Projects, Invest Cyprus went over Cyprus’s current economic standing, opportunities that have arisen for investors and the role that Invest Cyprus is playing in bringing more investment to Cyprus.
Cyprus has seen robust 5.6% GDP growth in 2022, exceeding the EU average, and tourism rebounding to 2019 levels. In addition, Foreign investments are pouring into large-scale tourism projects, luxury resorts, and rural areas, elevating tourism over the last couple of years.
