“Cyprus was identified as the ideal location for Easybrain due to its well-developed business infrastructure, excellent climate, high standard business environment attracting top talent as well as its strong IT community.”

“Cyprus has attractive conditions and within the recent years it became a place for community who creates games, IT products and services for the worldwide market. Besides here we are close to some of our teams in Eastern Europe. This proximity provides a great reach to the pool of talented developers, makes our businesses more effective and helps to create games there.”

“The fact that Cyprus is a Member State of the EU is very helpful because, firstly it significantly reduces various administrative burdens and secondly it allows access to various EU tax directives. It also provides us with the opportunity to participate in various EU-initiated or funded programmes which either exist or are introduced from time to time and which may provide grants, subsidies or other incentives to companies performing R&D activities.”

Cyprus was a no brainer, from all perspectives, the geography, the weather, the social values, quality of life, and most importantly the business facilitation. 95% of my employees did not think twice before getting excited about the move. There is also a sense of security, safety, law and order. It makes the island a perfect place for a business set up and for expansion.

Coming to Cyprus we felt that the business community here as well as the regulatory framework was suitable to allow us as a new startup to set up properly and we found that the platform that Cyprus has to offer in that respect is well-equipped. We have a business-friendly environment here to test some of the ideas that eventually will be scaled across other regions and regulations.

Investment decisions in any market have to rest on 4 main pillars: sound macroeconomic fundamentals competent government and efficient and equitable legal and judicial system and a predictable fiscal environment. And Cyprus scores very highly on all 4. If you are asking me, what do I enjoy most in Cyprus, I have a simple answer: it’s the people. The people, the people and the people. But also, the hospitality, the friendliness, the warmth, and the beauty of this country.

It really is at the centre of where you want to be. From a business perspective, you have a reliable legal system here that is fast, efficient, cost-effective and that is supported by all of the excellent law firms that are here on the island, who are really market leaders in their respective fields. Cypriots are incredibly proactive, incredibly dynamic, incredibly can-do people and incredibly educated too, and everything that the Cypriot shipping/maritime cluster needs is pretty much here.

Cyprus offers a favourable business culture, human resources of high caliber, very experienced service providers, as well as the professional expertise of Cyprus, the local regulator who leads the industry of best practice on international basis. Cyprus has a well-regulated industry making the island a unique business platform and an investment destination.

Cyprus is a good hub between Russia and Europe which is very important for us. Also, Cyprus has very good tax regime for corporate tax and very good taxes for dividends for shareholders. We are glad that Cyprus recognized the existence of IT industry which represents a very big sector of the economy, and the IT industry is the only industry which can grow very fast 3, 5, 10 times just in few years.
