An Exclusive Cyprus Funds Event in Zurich: ” Cyprus – a Growing EU Investment Funds Jurisdiction”
Zurich’s business and investment community is invited to participate in the Exclusive Cyprus Funds Event in Zurich, titled “Cyprus – a Growing EU Investment Funds Jurisdiction”. This event will take place on Wednesday, 1st November 2023 in Zurich and aims to showcase the benefits of Cyprus as an asset management and fund hosting jurisdiction.
The event, hosted by Invest Cyprus, the investment authority of the Government of Cyprus and the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA), will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to network with experts about Cyprus’ regulated funds status and explore the highly attractive key advantages that Cyprus offers, which have been recognized by major market players that chose Cyprus to set up their funds. Leading investment fund and asset management companies, along with financial and investment advisory firms have been invited to attend.
The program will include a keynote presentation from the Acting CEO of Invest Cyprus, Mr. Marios Tannousis, who will focus on the Cyprus Economic Outlook and the Investment Climate, explaining the business opportunities in the country.
Mr. Andreas Yiassemides, President of CIFA, will present the benefits of Cyprus as an emerging asset management and fund hosting jurisdiction and will analyse the types and legal forms of Cyprus funds.
The guests will also have the opportunity to discuss with Mr. George Karatzias, Vice – Chairman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, the local regulator.
